04/02: I can't believe I'm going to say this....
....we're moving. Again. I would rather shave my head with this:
than move again. But, it's happening. Why? Where? Are we on the Butane again? (I kid)
The house we're currently in suffers from some serious infrastructure issues that we only learned about after living here for the last few months. The landlords have informed us that, with all due respect, "tough shit." They were nice about it but that's what it amounts to.
So, we're moving to a bigger and cooler house. It's only about 3/4 of a mile down the street so only our mailing address will change (the Post Office is SO pissed at us right now).
One thing I've never mentioned on this blog is how much I HATE hanging curtains and pictures on the wall. I just despise it. Well, here at the current house, we've just finished hanging everything. I was done. So...close....to not having to do it again for a long time. But now, that's all gone.
The good news? My brother-in-law who loves this kind of stuff is coming next weekend and, oh boy, do I have some things in mind for his visit. :-)
The new house is very cool. Best feature: Jetted master bath tub. That's hot.
The backyard is huge -- Gracie's psyched about that. And I now have enough room again for my grand piano:

02/02: Popsicles
Popsicles are good. No, they're great! But do any of you remember your first one? Probably not. Well, I got Sophie's first popsical on video and will now share it with you. In addition you will see Grace eating her popsicle (definitely not her first) and me, briefly, enjoying one as well.[Jeff]
